Don't we as parents envision what our children will grow into? My Mother had a dream for her youngest daughter (yep, that's me). I was supposed to be graceful (ballet at 8), cultured (museums, opera, etc), articulate, diplomatic, etc. Instead I took a different path! However, to this day I still see her Christmas celebrations in my mind's eye! The beautifully decorated trees, her favorite music (Bunny Somebody playing a harp), the lavish feast always served on the "good" china! Hope you share some traditions with your families. Share your joy in His birth, try to make your celebration about that rather than impressing someone else.
