MEDICAL HISTORY (Parent): Concurrent medical conditions included Hand pain. No Medical History information was reported. On 19-Jul-2021, the mother received first dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (unknown route) 1 dosage form. On 13-Aug-2021, received second dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (unknown route) dosage was changed to 1 dosage form. The mother''s last menstrual period was on an unknown date and the estimated date of delivery was 15-Oct-2021. The neonate was diagnosed with DEATH NEONATAL (Neonatal death) on 07-Oct-2021. The Neonate was exposed to mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) during pregnancy. The delivery occurred, which was reported as Full-term. For neonate 1, The outcome was reported as Term Birth w Comp and Cong Anomaly. The neonate died. The cause of death was not reported. It is unknown if an autopsy was performed. For mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Transplacental), the reporter did not provide any causality assessments. The frequency and intensity of uterine contractions during the labor were in the acceptable range, and the fetal heart sound began to be unstable until 3-4 am in the morning. (Decreased fetal heart sounds). After giving the patient''s mother O2 and her lying on the left side, the fetal heart sounds improved. The cervix was fully opened into the delivery room at 8 am. The doctor said that after the patient was born, there was a cry.When the umbilical cord was cut for newborn care, the nursing staff found that the patient had symptoms of oral and nose bleeding, and immediately asked the pediatrician to intubate and give him oxygen, and he was admitted to the NICU. 🥺In the NICU, his result of examination showed abnormal blood coagulation, pulmonary hemorrhage, and cardiac dysfunction. Blood transfusion was given and he got injection of Epinephrine.
