1. Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.2. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.3. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.4. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.5. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 John 5:1-5 🙏🏻 He that truly believes that Jesus, is the Messiah, is born of God, and shall partake in Christ's nature, and every grace of the Spirit, an heir of God, being regenerated in Christ. To regenerate, is to recreate, raise from the dead, revive, restore. This was the mission that Christ fulfilled. Christ overcame the world, sin, and death, because of His love for us. And we who believe all that Christ has done, will keep His word, His commands, for we who are born again of Christ, know the price that was paid, for the salvation of the souls of men. And it will not give us grief or sorrow, we shall suffer no eternal loss, to follow our Savior, will not be burdensome or oppressive, because He gave everything up for us. Amen. Come quickly Lord Jesus.
