10. Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron;
11. Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the council of the most High:
12. Therefore he brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none to help.
13. Then they cried unto the LORD in the trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.
14. He brought them out of the darkness and shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.
15. Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and his wonderful works to the children of men!
Psalm 107:10-15πŸ™πŸ»
To rebell against God is sin, and sin becomes a prison, set in darkness, bound like chains of iron, to eternal destruction.
Those caught, who have fell under the burden, having none to help, cry out of their distresses, to Christ the Savior.
Christ the Victor, hearing breaks their bonds, bringing them into the light, out of the shadow of death.
For this reason He came, for this reason, all who submit to Him, shall continue to praise Him, for His goodness, and His saving grace to all men. Amen.
