In the case where a judge has been asked to issue a temporary restraining order preventing the government from firing employees who are awaiting approval of their religious exemption request, the judge asked the government to put in writing its assurance that no plaintiff would be fired while waiting for their request to approved. The government has responded, telling the judge they will not put such an assurance in writing.Now, the judge can rule on the motion. Since the government has refused, I assume the plaintiffs will be granted their request.
