1. Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.
2. LORD, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
3. If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
4. But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
5. I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
Psalm 130:1-5πŸ™πŸ»
Our God is a hearing God, His ears are attentive, to the cries of the sinner, who is sinking into the depths of destruction.
All have sinned, so if our iniquities follow us, who is able to stand before God? Not one!
But there is forgiveness, through Christ our Lord, who took our punishment, and covered us, in His Righteousness.
That we may reverence God, because our sin, has been pardoned.
And who do we wait for, our Lord, our Savior. The Anchor of our soul, to return, and receive us, to Himself, for all eternity.
This is our hope, our foundation, because His Word is true, His promises, are yes, and let it be so. Amen.
