22. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,23. Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.24. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.25. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.26. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.Galatians 5:22-26 The fruit of the Spirit, or the graces, received, in the new life, cannot be experienced, in the old nature. The works of the flesh, are works of darkness, and there is no life in them. We cannot know the depth of love, till the soul is regenerated, and we know Christ. Knowing Christ brings joy, and peace, with God. Suffering with Christ, seeking goodness, and faith, comes from the Spirit, we never sought it in the old nature. The meekness of Christ, and His moderation, are highly approved by God, seek, these things. If we are Christ's, then we must put on His character, this can only be done through the Spirit, for the carnal man, will not desire such a thing. So if we live to Christ, we must walk in the Spirit, who was given, for our help, and assistance, our guide, and influence, into all spiritual things. If we are at peace with God, so shall we be with our spiritual family, this also pleases, God the Father. Amen.
