19. For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.
20. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Galatians 2:19-20
Paul begins to explain, that the only salvation in the law of God, was if you did not break it. The law is without mercy, it can only judge, guilty, or innocent.
We know of no one but Christ, who lived as a man, and keep the whole law.
Christ being innocent, went to the cross, in our place, proof of God's love, for His creations.
We are not to ignore the law, but we cannot trust it, to gain righteousness, or salvation, for we can only gain that in Christ Jesus.
Now as Christ, took our place, we are crucified with Him, and we now live by faith, that we shall receive the promises, of salvation, and eternal life. Amen.
