8. The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.9. He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.10. He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. 11. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy towards them that fear him. 12. As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.Psalm 103:8-12 This is the character of God, from the time of Adam, Abraham, Moses, and David, to this very day. If you could measure the heaven above the earth, you would see it filled with God's mercy, and graciousness. If God would deal with us according to our sin, we would have been turned to destruction, for the wages of sin, is death. This is the work, only Christ, could accomplish, He pacified, the punishment for sin, at the Cross, by taking our place. The Father cannot see anything in Christ's followers, but His Son's Righteousness. Therefore, as the east and west can never touch each other, nor can our sins, be seen in us, for Christ's work, is a perfect work, without any error. Amen.
