"Trust the scientists" means exactly the same as "believe all women", and "do it for the children", and "if it saves just one life", and "all we want is common sense ____ laws". Those statements only count when what is being said reflects the agenda of the moment.

Add...Genetically modified organisms scientists. And gender biologists. And economists. And historians.

Only a leftist would reject meat from a cow that was vaccinated because it's "unnatural", but get the same vaccine injected into themselves because "science".
