7. And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee.
8. Deliver me from all my transgressions: make me not the reproach of the foolish.
9. I was dumb, I opened not my mouth; because thou didst it.
10. Remove thy stroke away from me: I am consumed by the blow of thine hand.
11. When thou with rebukes dost correct man for iniquity, thou makest his beauty to consume away like a moth: surely every man is vanity. Selah.
Psalm 39:7-11 πŸ™πŸ»
If you could live ten lifetime's, what would be your hope, if you have not found Christ.
I am coming up on 69, my hope is in Jesus, that I have been forgiven, and delivered from all unrighteousness.
I have been corrected, for straying from the narrow path, yet I was not consumed in my sin.
This is the Lord's mercy, and it is great.
I have seen many things in this life, but Jesus, and the Word of God, have been a joy, and a privilege, and nothing can compare, to the wisdom, and understanding, of knowing both. Man, is but dust, and to dust, he must go, but those who trust in Christ, shall be rewarded, with life eternal, with Christ, the Lord. Amen.
