2. For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.3. For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him righteousness.4. Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. 5. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.6. Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,7. Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.8. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. Romans 4:2-8 ππ» No man can be justified by his deeds. For if it were possible, Christ, need not die. Forgiveness, of sin, comes at a very high price, the death of Jesus, God's Son, the Creator of everything, including, your salvation. This word faith, is defined in the Greek, as a strong conviction, or belief, a reliance, on Jesus Christ, for our salvation. The word, imputeth, is defined, as, to assign, attribute, impose, lay on, attach to. So, through faith in Christ, our sin, has not been imposed on our account, but has been laid on Jesus, who gave His life, to pay the debt of sin, which is death, and in its place, Christ, has covered us, with His Righteousness. Sin, cannot be put to our account, because, Christ the Lord, declared, us not guilty, and forgiven. Amen.
