Ecuador REVOKES Assange citizenship over altered docs, unpaid fees! WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange's Ecuadorian citizenship has been STRIPPED, over supposed inconsistencies with his 2018 application. It's claimed documents were altered, multiple (different) signatures and unpaid fees. His lawyer Carlos Poveda has called it undue process as Assange "was deprived of his liberty" and faced "a health crisis" while in detention.This comes after last month's decision by Britain's High Court to allow a US appeal against a block on his extradition, where he could face up to 175 years behind bars for leaking classified intel alleging US war crimes.
