2. Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.
3. Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty.
4. And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.
5. Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king's enemies; whereby the people fall under thee.
6. Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right scepter.
7. Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
Psalm 45:2-7 πŸ™πŸ»
Such a clear picture of our Savior, Jesus, proclaimed by the psalmist.
Commending the sinless beauty of our Lord, above all the children of Adam.
The grace poured out of Christ's lips, in the Gospel message, preaching repentance from sin, and the promise of eternal life.
Blessed with all the Gifts of the Spirit of God, and becoming our Mediator, between the Father, and ourselves.
Christ, is called upon to use the Sword of the Spirit, He is the spoken Word of God, convincing, and reprove sin.
The Captain of our Salvation, the Victor over Satan, sin, principalities, and powers, and death itself.
His glory and majesty, cannot be matched, by His authority, He rose from the grave, and was crowned with everlasting honor, by the Father.
The right hand of power, which is the work of redemption, conquering, and destroying the enemies of God's people.
Now we fall in submission to our King, depending on Christ alone, for our salvation.
Here we see Christ as God, His Kingdom, and throne, given by the Father, and the Sceptre, the sign of authority over His Kingdom, all praise, honor, and glory, to the King of all kings. Amen.
