1. O LORD, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.2. Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed. 3. My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O LORD, how long?4. Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies' sake. 5. For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks? Psalm 6:1-5 ππ» Christ has pacified, God's anger, and punishment for sin. The Creator knows our weaknesses, and that we are but dust. Sin is not only a danger to the soul, but can to great harm to this body of flesh. There is none but Christ, who can deliver, from the onslaught of Satan. Because of His mercy, and love for us. We are on a ticking clock, which, when it runs out, cannot be wound again. If we are to accept God's gift of salvation in Christ, if we would give Him thanks, for dying in our place, we must do it while we still have life. Amen.
