27. Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.28. Father, glorify thy name. Then came a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.29. The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: other said, An angel spake to him.30. Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.31. Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.32. And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all men unto me.33. This he said, signifying what death he should die.John 12:27-33 ?? The Son of the living God, Jesus, with God, and equal to God, for all time. Knowing, His death was near, yet moving forward to it, for this is the Gospel message, Jesus, came to save us from sin, and it's punishment of eternal destruction. Jesus, justified us, in His death, He took our punishment, and in its place, gave us eternal life with Him. And we honor Christ, who loved us while we were yet sinners, by obedience to His word, not all who cry, Lord, Lord, will enter Paradise, only those who follow Him, on the narrow, straight path. Amen.
