1. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity !2. It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;3. As the dew of Hermon, and as they dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore. Psalm 133:1-3?? How pleasant it is for the members of Christ's church, to live united, in love, and singleness of mind, as Christ, taught. This united spirit, is compared to ointment, the fragrance, permeates, the hair, and clothes, and is noticed by others. As the High Priest, was anointed by this ointment, so Christ, has anointed us, with His grace, having covered us, it is visible, to others, that see the change, salvation, has worked in us. As dew seeps, into the dry ground, a gift from God above to the earth. So the blessings of Christ, land on us, penertrating, our very soul, so we are renewed daily, and are no longer, the same person of sin, but a new creature. Amen.
