25. For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.26. And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved?27. And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.28. Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee.29. And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake,30. Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting. Luke 18:25-30 ?? Christ used this saying, showing that those, who rejected His teaching, putting their wealth, in the place of God, would not see the gates of heaven, open to them, so as to enter Paradise, until a camel, passed through, an eye of a needle, Christ, used the illustration of a camel, because of the hump on it's back, made the process, that much more impossible. There is nothing man can do to erase his sin, to purify himself, to enter heaven. Christ, is the only acceptable sacrifice for sin, there is no other. To even contemplate, or seek elsewhere, for any other solution, is vanity, and destruction. Christ, has paid our debt, and all who follow in His steps, shall be rewarded in this life, and also in the next, with life eternal, which no one can give, but the Creator, Himself. Amen.
