1. Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.
2. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.
3. Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men.
4. For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
5. Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning there are like grass which groweth up.
6. In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; in the evening it is cut down, and withereth.
Psalm 90:1-6 ??
God's intentions for man, before anything was created, was life, abundant life, no lack, no sorrow, no death.
Sin changed that !
Now every generation, experiences, days that run by swiftly. We are under a time constraint, and we do not know which day is our last.
If we lived a thousand years, it would go faster than we could imagine.
Christ at the Cross, broke this curse, yes, all those in Christ, die, this body must perish, for it knew sin, but we shall live in Christ, with a new body, which will never know sin, sorrow, pain, sickness, nor death.
We will rejoice, for ever with our Saviour, Jesus, the Son, of the most High God, for all eternity. Amen.
