2. Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah. ( pause and think on this)
3. Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.
4. Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thy anger toward us to cease.
5. Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?
6. Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?
7. Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation.
Psalm 85:2-7 ??
In Christ, has all sin, been covered.
In Christ, all the wrath of God, has been removed, from us, and it was placed on Jesus.
It is God, who turned us from destruction, as we placed our trust in Christ, the Savior.
It is only in Christ, that God's anger is subdued to all generations, that call on Him.
This word revive is translated, bringing back to life, we were dead in sin, without hope.
But now we can rejoice in Christ our Savior, by the grace, and mercy of God, for He has saved us from the penalty due us. And in the place of judgment, we have been granted, eternal life. Amen.
