1. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.2. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.3. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.5. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.6. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. Psalm 23:1-6 ?? Easter has come and gone, and it is because of the weakness of the flesh, we abide in, that we forget quickly what Christ did for us on Calvary. So this Psalm may strengthen and encourage you. Jesus is our Shepherd, there is no other. Putting our trust in Him, our daily cares are met. Like fast running water frighten sheep, the devil, makes disturbing noise, to distract us. Life is a journey, as in every second, death, consumes, a loved one, a friend, a foe, but we fear not, for the Shepherd's staff, guides, and corrects, and protects. The providence of God, sets out a meal, blesses you, and gives you more than enough, while you are at peace, being surrounded by your enemies, because the Shepherd, protects, His flock. Goodness and mercy, will follow all, who are led by Christ, and we dwell in His house, because, He dwells in us. Amen
