15. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18. They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
Mark 16:15-19??
As we enter into the season where we celebrate the Lord's resurrection, we must keep in mind His parting words.
We all have the same directive as Jesus's disciples.
We are to share the gospel message, Jesus did not take in scholars, to be close to Him, but common men, as you, and I.
As we take on this task, the same power, that transformed the disciples, will be in us.
No longer fearful beings in an ungodly world, but fearless, bold, gospel messengers, protected by our Loving Savior.
See how we must believe in Christ first, then by baptism, we are initiated into the fellowship with Christ, and His saving grace.
Believing in Christ, brings salvation, and with salvation, comes the sharing of the message, and with the sharing follows, signs and wonders, that will convict the lost to seek Jesus. Hallelujah.
