2. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.3. Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up.6. Psalm 90, a prayer of Moses. Moses being an eyewitness, to the punishment of sin, and the swiftness of a human life. Our lives are compared to grass growing, then being cut down. And who considers the grass, growing, but the one who mows it. Christ came and gave His life, to make peace, with sins punishment, to all who have come to Christ, all has been forgiven, not one sin, will be remembered by God. Our days on earth, run quickly, and our life, will be summed up with a few words. So we ask the Lord, to teach us, to remember, how quickly life passes, and to give us a heart filled with the wisdom to follow Christ. Amen.
