27. And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.28. But after that I am risen, I will go before you into Galilee.29. But Peter said unto him, Although all shall be offended, yet will not I.30. And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this day, even in this night, before the cock crows twice, thou shall deny me thrice.31. But he spake the more veminently, If I should die with thee, I will not deny thee in any wise. Likewise also said they all. Mark 14:27-31 ?? If we allow our feelings, and our human nature, to hinder what Christ has said, we are preparing to fail. Jesus spoke in truth, and there is no fault, or lie, in any words, He spoke. Peter was very close to Christ, yet did not believe the very word, spoken to him. We are to believe, if we accept Christ, we are saved, now we will be tried and tested, a faith untried, is no faith at all. In ALL THINGS we are more than conquers, for we are not alone, but Christ is in us. If we falter under the pressure of our afflictions, thinking we are alone, how will we be able to stand, when the enemy test, if we truly are citizens of Christ's kingdom. We are held up, by the love of Christ, and we have favor, with the Father, because we have been purchased with the blood of Christ. Amen.
