4. Who have said, With our tongues we will prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?5. For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.6. The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.7. Thou shall keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.8. The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted. Psalm 12:4-8 ?? This is the language of the ungodly, the antichrist's, who would believe their words are law, and shall be obeyed. Who will say what they please, make laws, and impose them on men, who exalted themselves above God. It is happening all around you this day. But the Salvation of Christ, cannot be halted, God's people, being oppressed, and needy, have the Lord on their side. The Lord's word is pure, without fault, He has said, He will keep His people in safety. And His sacred written words, He will preserve for every generation, making available, what His will, and good pleasure is, for His people. The wicked are everywhere in great numbers, therefore we are in need of His divine preservation. The vilest of men exalt themselves against God, in this life, but their time is short, and they shall be brought low, to the lowest degree, in the next. As God, brings His, people into their eternal rest, in Christ. Amen.
