38. And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and then that wept and wailed greatly.
39. And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.
40. And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying.
41. And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise.
42. And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.
Mark 5:38-42 ??
Jesus comes to the house, where the daughter, has died. And he sees the relatives, friends, neighbors, and those hired to mourn, and cry, for this little girl.
Jesus enters the house, and confronts those who were grieving, and mourning, whether real, or artificial, saying, she was sleeping. And they laughed at Him, who has power, over life and death, and He had them removed from the room, many who got their living from crying, for people they did not know.
Jesus comes to the child, takes her by the hand, and tell her arise, and so she does.
Laughers and scoffers, of the Gospel, shall be put out, and will not witness the power and love, of Christ, the Son of God.
Nothing is so permanent as death, yet, Christ treats it as if someone is sleeping, and every other affliction is under Christ's power, He bore our sicknesses, and our infirmities, on the cross.
And all who believe and are healed, will be eyewitnesses, to the power, and glory of Christ, the Lord.
And one day we shall hear His voice, saying, Arise, and we shall rise, and forever be with Him
Hallelujah, Let it be so.
