8. The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.9. He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.10. He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.11. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.12. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.13. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.14. For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.Psalm 103:8-14?? The Lord's abundant mercy, is shown, in that we are sinners, He has not given us what we deserve, for the payment for sin is death. Grace, and mercy, are the characteristics of God's behavior. Grace, the unmerited favor of God, that can be received, but not earned. Mercy, the power of pardon, delt out to the guilty. Christ, because of His, work on the cross, removed the punishment for sin. You can go no where but to Christ, for redemption. All things were made by Christ, even us, and He came and gave His life, that we may be restored to God. He knows us, better, than we know ourselves, He is able to give everything needed, to enable us to enter in to the eternal home prepared for us. All we have to do is ask. Amen.
