7. In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
8. Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
9. Surely men of low degrees are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.
10. Trust not in oppression, become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.
11. God has spoken once; twice have I have heard this; that power belongeth unto God.
12. Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
Psalm 62:7-12 ??
Our salvation, and honor, dignity, abundance, our reputation, is in God.
The foundation of our spiritual strength, our place of safety, from danger, is in Christ.
We are to trust Him, at all times, He hears our cry, and places us in His protection, as we pour out our hearts before Him.
Men of a fallen nature, and great men, rulers, who think they are different, from the fallen, but are filled, with lies, and deceit, if you put both on one side of a scale, and vanity, on the other, vanity, would out weigh them both, this word, vanity, is defined, as the breath coming out of the mouth, quickly lost, unable to be found. Valueless, this is fate, of all who refuse Christ.
Oppression, and robbery, are not the tools of God's people.
Power belongs to God, and all who render it must answer to it's Master.
All who accept God's mercy in Christ, shall have the unmerited favor of God, and will be rewarded for all work done in His name. Amen.
