1. In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?
2. For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.
3. If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
4. The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
5.The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
6. Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.
7. For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.
Psalm 11:1-7 ??
This song, praises the Lord, for the enemy of God's people, would slander Him, in saying, flee from fear, to fear, as you go to worship God, on Mount Zion.
But all who reverence God, in spirit, and truth, have nothing to fear from the Lord.
In secret the wicked plan their attack on God's people.
When the foundation, of the Gospel, of Christ, is ignored, all things fall out of order, government, church, state, laws.
But those with a right standing with God, are on a solid eternal foundation, made sure by the cross.
The Lord, sees all, the good, with the bad.
The Lord, refines, His people, as gold is refined in the fire, coming out, more valuable, then when it went in.
But all who refuse, Christ, have been prepared for destruction, seeing, they cast off, their salvation. Amen.
