1. Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.2. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.3. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.4. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.5. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.6. For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. Psalm 1:1-6 ?? Made happy in this life, and the next, is the person, that is covered in Christ. They are not instructed by the ungodly, for they have removed themselves from their ways. They are separated from sinners, though all have sinned, this denotes a person, that goes from evil to evil, standing, and rooted in corruption. They are not associated with those that mock God, who scoff at death, hell, and judgment. But their delight is in God, in His commands, His presence, for they are not of this world. These shall flourish in righteousness, and will be successful in those things that pertain to Christ. The ungodly shall not prosper, they shall not stand before Christ, with joy. Those who reject Christ, have separated themselves from any reward, and have chosen a path, that leads to death, unhappiness, wretchedness, and shall be miserable for all eternity. Amen.
