Preparing For The End: Part : Four Don't Give Up!
There are aspects of preparation that are exciting. Making plans and carrying them out is exhilarating. Learning new skills to better prepare ourselves for what is coming, also gives us useful skills now.
Then there are aspects that are downright scary. Tribulation, suffering, persecution, being hunted, potential death of not only ourselves but friends and family.
But if we are privileged enough to be alive through it, to see God's prophesies being fulfilled in such a spectacular way, will be awe inspiring!
And, if we are martyred, we will rise when Jesus returns. And if we are alive at the coming of Jesus, we get to meet Him in the air.
To look up, when all looks lost and hopeless, gloom and blackness and see Jesus riding in on His white horse with the hosts of Heaven--words could not contain the exhilarating of the saints and the wails of those following the Antichrist!
So, even as I try to prepare a little better with the limited funds we have, I have discovered that this lifestyle is a lot cheaper way to live. It might mean more work, but at least we are already used to getting by with a lot less of the conveniences that many think are essential.
Add to that, studying God's word and watching it unfold before my very eyes, is so incredibly cool!
Get thrilled at the prospect and the preparation will become a pleasure!
Stay strong! The end of mankind's reign ushers in the Millennial reign of King Jesus!
