Inauguration Day!
Praise God, it is finally President Donal Trump's Inauguration day.
Our nation needs to stand with righteousness and against the wicked plans that were at work in our country.
The total defeat of evil will come through the return of Jesus and His rule and reign on the Earth, but in the meantime we must do our part.
And this is a good start!
Evil will crawl back into the shadows, but it must always be rooted out and destroyed. It is not going away any time soon. We still have the Antichrist to eventually face! We cannot get complacent.
We must be vigilant and use this time of reprieve thst God has given us to turn back to Him as a nation and repent as a people, to bring revival to our land!
This Psalm came to me this morning and as I read it, it became even more perfect for this day than I had first thought.
"I will extol You, O Lord, for You have lifted me up, and have not let my foes rejoice over me. O Lord my God, I cried out to You, and You healed me. O Lord, You brought my soul up from the grave; You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. Sing praise to the Lord, you saints of His, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name. For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Now in my prosperity I said, 'I shall never be moved.' Lord, by Your favor You have made my mountain stand strong; You hid Your face, and I was troubled. I cried out to You, O Lord; and to the Lord I made supplication: 'What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise You? Will it declare Your truth? Hear, O Lord, and have mercy on me; Lord, be my helper!' You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, to the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever."
Psalms 30:1-12
And as I read it, I couldn't help seeing President Trump's dance and I couldn't help smiling.
God works in mysterious and marvelous ways! And He gives us help when we seek Him!
"Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. 'For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,' says the Lord. 'For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace. The mountains and the hills shall break forth into singing before you, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree; and it shall be to the Lord for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.'”
Isaiah 55:6-13
There is coming a day of redemption from the Lord, whatever this life holds! But we must choose it now, in this lifetime and live a life pleasing to the Lord!
Stay strong! Take every opportunity to stand for righteousness and life against evil and death!
