It May Not be Convenient
There are many things that may not be convenient in our lives, but evenso, it would have been harder if it happened at another time.
We may not see that right away, but looking back and what is happening now, we can see that it would have been a great deal more inconvenient if it were to happen now.
We never want to face anything hard, but often the timing can act as a buffer or make something bad into something terrible.
That is why we can praise God for the timing of a hard thing. We acknowledge that things could easily have been far worse at another time. We are grateful for the buffering effect.
Of course the Devil wants to pile bad on top of other bad, in an attempt to overwhelm us. But that can backfire as hardships can have a numbing effect if too much is piled on at once. Shock will act as a temporary shield where God can speak to us heart to heart.
If we only look at the here and now, and not take our life in its entirety, we can bemoan something that is actually a help to us, inconvenient as it is.
Stay strong! Timing makes a lot of difference, be thankful that God knows that as well.
