It's a site I've never heard of before but a friend posted a link. What was refreshing is that they posted verbatim statements from the big three network anchors that were highly critical. Their ire was that Joe Biden traded away a war criminal, commonly known as the "Merchant of Death" to gain the freedom for someone undeserving of it, Brittney Griner. These news anchors were incensed by Biden's actions in no uncertain terms. And expressing such open anger against a Dem president is not something I can recall in decades of following the news. But what's the backstory here? Right now we're stuck with the worst, most inept. person for a president than has ever happened. He shakes hands with people who aren't anywhere near him, he can't even read from a teleprompter without screwing that up. And he's far too touchy, feely with women and small children (either sex). A gnat has more cognitive awareness. Or maybe the ever present ice cream cone in his hand has given him permanent brain freeze. His cognitive abilities, never in his life his strong suit, have gone AWOL. Who knows? Who cares? The point is, it's real. This 180 by the press is more than telling. Biden has become a 'dead candidate walking'. This wasn't a case of network toadies at work. No this had to be a case of network toadies who are taking their marching orders from the Democratic Party and their big mega-doners who really run the party. My take is this. The mid-terms are behind us as is the danger of sinking the entire party in that vote. And now it's time to rid the party of the boat anchor that would drown them all in 2024. This was firing the opening salvo against the man they still had on a pedestal through all his flubs, inappropriate and un-presidential words and deeds. And, like all things political, especially on the left side of the aisle, they will work to a plan to have him dismissed from the candidate list while trying to give it the appearance of Biden making the decision for, and by, himself. Yet another typical response we've come to expect from the woke folk. Childish, immature and, above all, stupid. What does Florida Governor Ron DeSantis do? He goes out and raises nearly $60 million to help his fellow man, and women, get their lives back to normal, their businesses back to normal, and their lives back to normal. That is the behavior of a real leader. Very smart move. As for Joe Biden, he reminds me of a spoiled brat four year old when he doesn't get his way says he going to hold his breath until he turns blue and dies. Sadly that is the norm for the woke ones. Just look at Twitter for an example fall of the high and mighty of another wokie. You could say and do anything as long as you were woke. Meanwhile those who didn't agree with their out of touch former CEO were censored or even permanently banned. And, as it is supposed to work, someone with the means, sanity, and maturity ends the old, pit of touch wokie club doing what smart, forward thinking people do, he made them an offer shareholders couldn't refuse. Remember, in the end CEO's are employed by the shareholders. It's all part of the capitalist system that made us, at one time, the most prosperous nation the world had ever seen. And not just for the CEO and Board of Directors but for everyone invested in the enterprise. Woke folk don't get that. Never have. Never will. The answer is simple. Management also works for the consumer. That simple thought is a prerequisite for remaining in business. If consumers tire of your product, your way of treating customers, your 'requirements' to be their customer, those companies will eventually fail as they shrink to a point where they don't have the critical mass of revenue to keep the doors open. On the other hand those who run their businesses as open to all, those without trying cram their ideology down your throat will, over time, prosper and hence thrive. Twitter is a living example of that. The 'New Twitter', open to all once again is experiencing a huge surge in users actually going to the site. New users as, well as people like me who never cancelled their membership but quit going to the platform. This reincarnation under Musk will prove itself in short order. Other woke CEO's of big tech are already out to kill it but sooner or later they might come to realize that all they've done is shoot themselves in the foot. Shareholders will come to that conclusion much sooner and the shareholders, the real voice, will come to that conclusion much sooner. You're welcome to disagree with anything I've written but simply look at the stock prices. They were sinking fast ahead of this downturn. Also look at the woke companies, they're the ones leading the way. Why? Well over half of this nation's population doesn't identify as being woke. It's a figment of the few. And especially the news media who finds themselves in dire straits after pretty much making being woke an employment criteria. In the end Biden loses as he marks himself a petty creature of political punishment and DeSantis proves himself a "can-do" leader. Like Eric Clapton sang closing out his hit song "I Shot The Sheriff… "Every day the bucket goes to the well But one day the bottom will drop out Yes, one day the bottom will drop out"

And it has been that way s... View MoreThe End Game Every citizen of the United States has the unalienable right to freedom of speech. A right so important that it was deemed worthy of Constitutional protection. And it has been that way since ratified as part of the Bill of Rights ratified on December15, 1791. On that day it became part of the Constitution, It's not an after thought or something thrown in for window dressing. It is the law of the land. The law for the past 230 years, 11 months, 20 days or, the past 84,361 days. It's purpose involved a number of reasons. First and foremost it was an inalienable right to speak one's mind. But it was so much more. It guarantied a say in how this nation should be run, it gave a voice to all, it promoted discourse between differing point of views the essential part of compromise and developing a reasonable enough notion of what works and what leads to disaster. But all of those reasons pale in comparison the real crux of what the First Amendment enshrined. The unalienable right to freedom of thought. That is simply the most important of all human rights. It is what makes us a free people. It promotes consensus in making our laws, of having a place in this grand experiment. Most importantly it sets the stage for agreement on legislation affecting our country, and hence every individuals daily life. The woke folk are out to end that, plain and simple. If we were to keep thinking, or in many individuals, get them to start thinking. This entire woke rebellion would be seen for what it is; An attack on people thinking for themselves instead of being cajoled, forced, threatened into believing some narrative that is pure fantasy. The end game for them is to make slaves of us all for the benefit off the incredibly wealthy, politicians who steal the money other have labored to earn, and even the wokies. As to the on the street main stream wokies too blind to see what's really happening, they will still be on the public dole keeping their ears open to prevent working people from rebellion. Sounds more like "The New World Disorder" to me. And keep thinking folks.
