Verse 1:11 (NIV) - "From you, Nineveh, has one come forth who plots evil against the Lord and devises wicked plans."
God's plan to restore Israel is a picture of redemption for His people. His people became more than the Israelites (or the Jews).
Verse 1:7 - "The Lord is good,
a stronghold in the day of trouble;
he knows those who take refuge in him."
