Rain Cloud, Rain Cloud
Please go away
Give me my sunshine
Quit destroying my day
My glass was half full
Before you drank it down
Then drizzled on my head
Mudding up my ground
Drowning out the grass
That’s under my feet
Losing my footing
Slipping to my seat
It started to look greener
On the other side
I grazed in those pastures
That were fertilized
I’m always praying
For some better luck
But it sounds to me
Your saying to “get…WHAT??!!”
Rain cloud, Rain cloud
Please go away
Now glass half empty
And that’s starting to fade
Whatever happened to?
Being fluffy and white
A nice ball of happiness
Just a wonderful sight
Where Angels resides
And those Care Bears play
What are they doing now?
“Go figure”…another rainy day….
I could wash my car
In my parking lot
To be hit with angry birds
Who wouldn’t miss a spot
I would look to the sky
Praying for the rain
Your spiteful intentions
Are driving me insane
Rain cloud, rain cloud
Why don’t you go away
Now my glass is empty
So why do you stay?
I willl go outside
To sit out my cup
Since you drank it down
Please fill it back up
Rain cloud, rain cloud
Go ahead and stay
I already know this game
That you love to play
You puddled up my lawn
With my half full glass
I’ll scoop it back up
And you can kiss my grass
