For the mire effort is not of use
They will no longer battle with guns
They will use words, timeout and truths
The strong will no longer excel
Inspired to be doctors and lawyers
It will be easier to be a politician
To sit behind a cabinet of liars
They will no longer seek to be different
Or try to stand out among the rest
There will be such little effort
Trying to prove whoever is best
They will no longer guard our borders
From enemies, foreign or domestic
We will no longer trust those leaders
For even their followers become skeptic
Now we’re equal in mediocrity
With nothing left that shall offend
Thank God, or is it our flag, or freedom
Who or what do we have left to defend
Accepting those who are weaker
Was never the problem for the strong
It’s standing side by side with those
