There's a great app called Merlin that can help. Let me run through it and see if it can identify.

Merlin suggested it might be a female or immature Anhinga. But it wasn't a great match. Very cool!

The anhinga, sometimes called snakebird, darter, American darter, or water turkey, is a water bird of the warmer parts of the Americas... this is definitely an anhinga with it's neck all folded up!!!
