The Holiday is getting very close as people are making there way Home For Thanksgiving.
I try not to repeat songs on this Rockollections thing, so you more often than not will hear a song played and never hear me play it again!
There are always exceptions of course, and I have one of my Thanksgiving Home Favorites in here!
But each year I try to come up with different songs about Going Home.
I ask you to try these on for size!
I'll give the Final Word to Mary Chapin Carpenter and her wonderful song about how we let ambition and success distract us from how we got where we are- unnecessarily making it The Long Way Home!

There are songs I love that are a perfect fit for Thanksgiving, and I could play them every year.
But I don't like to repeat Songs, there are too many that never get played.
So I went deep into the Music Library, and came out with some twists.
All are invited, the door is open, so Come On In!
It will be Fruitful, in fact, Thanksgiving is the only time of year I think of Cranberries!
After that, some Alternative Thanksgiving Dinners!
In all honesty, this first half is different from any other Thanksgiving Show I've ever done.
Is that a GOOD thing, lol?

We continue with the Rockollections Fall Fashion Show with Shoes.
It's strange, but no matter how minor or innocuous some Theme Shows and Series are- and this certainly is not in any way a profound one- there are always serious songs within that Theme.
I'll be playing a few among all the other fun ones.
There's one in here about a return from a romantic vacation with a trace of sand, but with an even larger amount of longing.
The songs chosen for this episode may surprise you.
They surprised me on playback, lol!
