1 Peter 5:8
When we were born again, we were born to win! Our new birth in Jesus Christ has fitted us for victory. We can detect Satans schemes and overcome his world system. We can march to the beat of a different drummer. We can live with victory over the desires of our flesh.
As we exercise authority over our mind, emotions, and will, old habits, attitudes, unclean desires, and worries must yield. We can actually put Satan and his demons to flight. We do not have to be afraid of himhe will be afraid of us!
Say this out loud, I was born to win. Doesn't that feel good? Now, look in the mirror and say it again: I was born to win.

Have you ever thought that if we lived according to Gods laws, we were going to miss out? The truth is, if we do not live according to Gods laws we are going to miss out! Gods laws are for our welfare.
God is not a tyrant in Heaven making a bunch of laws to make us squirm like a worm in hot ashes as we try to keep those laws. God loves us. Every time God says Thou shalt not, God is simply saying, Dont hurt ourselves. And every time God says, Thou shalt, God is saying, Help ourselves to happiness. God has something so wonderful for us.
Write the following down on some sticky notes and post them everywhere.
God loves me.
God knows better than I do.
God is in control.
God is good.

What if you had an appointment with the doctor and found out that you had cancer? Maybe you have heard this news or heard it on behalf of a loved one.
Please allow me to share a few things cancer cannot do...
Cancer cannot shatter hope.
Cancer cannot corrode faith.
Cancer cannot destroy peace.
Cancer cannot place a limit on eternal life.
Cancer cannot quench the Spirit of God
Cancer cannot lessen the power of the resurrection.
Is there someone in your life who is suffering from cancer? Give them the Good News we have read today. If they are not saved, pray they will come to know our risen Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

View More"Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:5-11
Let's examine this passage once more. Under the Holy Spirits inspiration, Paul summarized the mission, ministry, and final triumph of the Lord Jesus Christ. In these seven verses, God the Father affirms that Jesus is the supernatural, sinless, sovereign, sacrificial, surviving, saving, soon-coming Son of God.
This passage has it all: Christmas, Easter, the Second Coming, and His Kingship over all creation, rolled into one. The grave could not hold Him; He is Lord of both life and death. Every knee shall bow to a resurrected King.
His sandaled feet once stood on the Mount of Olives. One day those miracle feet, those pierced feet, are going to touch down again on that Mount of Olives, and the Bible says it is going to split in two at His second coming.
Acts 4:12 says, And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
We all have a date with deity. One day everyone is going to meet Jesus Christ. He is inescapable, unavoidable and inevitable.
When you meet Him, will it be as judge or will it be as Savior? Your decision will have eternal consequences.
