View More⸻ 🕊️ SOAP Devotional: “Breathing Life into the Dry Bones” S – Scripture Ezekiel 37:5 (KJV) “Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live.” O – Observation • The Valley of Dry Bones: Ezekiel’s vision of dry bones scattered in a valley symbolizes a people without hope, lifeless and disconnected. Yet, God’s command to prophesy to these bones brings about a miraculous transformation — bones come together, flesh forms, and breath enters, signifying the restoration of life. • Modern-Day Parallels: The tragic events of recent times — the murder of Charlie Kirk and the earlier incident involving Iryna Zarutska — have served as catalysts for awakening. These incidents, though deeply sorrowful, have ignited a global movement, stirring the hearts of many to rise up in faith and action. • The Role of the Church: Just as Ezekiel was called to speak life into the bones, the Church today is called to speak truth, hope, and revival into a world that seems spiritually lifeless. The events that have transpired are not just tragedies but opportunities for the Church to rise and fulfill its prophetic role. A – Application • Recognizing the Call: The Church must recognize the signs of the times and respond to God’s call to prophesy life into the dry bones. This involves speaking truth, standing for justice, and being a beacon of hope in a world filled with despair. • Empowering the Next Generation: Just as the rally in London honored Charlie Kirk as a voice for the next generation, the Church must invest in discipling and empowering young leaders who will carry the torch of faith into the future. • Embracing the Awakening: The global response to these events signifies a spiritual awakening. The Church must embrace this movement, fostering revival, unity, and a renewed commitment to the Great Commission. P – Prayer Heavenly Father, We come before You, acknowledging the lifelessness that has pervaded our world. Yet, we also recognize Your power to breathe life into the dry bones. We lift up the Church, asking that You empower us to speak life, truth, and hope into a world that desperately needs it. May we rise as a prophetic voice, calling forth revival and awakening in every nation. We pray for the next generation of leaders, that You would raise them up to boldly proclaim Your Word and lead with integrity and passion. In the midst of tragedy, may we see Your hand at work, bringing beauty from ashes and life from death. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
