View MoreAttended the North Carolina Republican Convention last weekend. I always go to these things hoping to argue policy and resolutions. But they were long days. The new plan of organization was so confusing and messed up they didn't even try to argue about it and just pulled it from consideration, They will rewrite it over the next several months and submit it next year. This time they will accept input from outside their committee. The Governor of Virginia was our guest speaker. He did an outstanding job. I think he is going to run for President in 2026. I will look forward to voting for him. there were several other state politicians and a Governor from another state. The meals were ok, but not worth $100. And to close out the event, I had a beer.
