Cabinets are falling apart. And I still have a huge, 34 pound turkey that needs to be cooked! Pies that need to be started. Squash that needs to be roasted. Sweet potatoes that need to be baked. My family is quite large, amd we have a well-producing cow that is milked every day, so, between milking supplies, daily family dishes, amd Thanksgiving prep, a dishwasher is a must! However, in the midst of all of this, Im thankful to have my family. Im thankful for the food I do have to eat. Im thankful to have a Thanksgiving, even if it isnt perfect. And Im also thankful that God is using this to teach me about what is truly important in my life. Him. Its not about the perfect spread on the table. Its not about a perfect kitchen. Its not even about a perfect meal. Its about remembering to be thankful for the abundance of the love God has for me.
