Just curious…. What are shelves looking like where you live? Today our Dollar General is pretty bare. Lots of empty spaces on food and household. Our local Walmart is low on many items too, even household items. We’ve seen prices on some items triple in a matter of weeks. I’m old enough to have been an adult in the 80’s. Inflation was awful. Owning a house was not an easy feat. And forget about carrying debt. Interest rates were astronomical. If things keep going the way they are we will be in big trouble soon. Heck, we already are. $2.99 for a box of Stove Top. Just .99 a month ago. That can of green beans that was 2/$1.00 is now $1.00 a piece. Dog food? Can’t get what Piper likes and the alternative is twice as much. Batten down the hatches. And if you have variable credit card debt, get rid of it. There was a time when 21% interest was the norm, with some companies charging 49%. Stock up my friends. It’s only going to get worse, if you can even find it.
