He Was Just Days From Graduation.
Then He Stood Up So Others Could Live.
This is Kendrick Castillo.
He was born on March 14, 2001, in Denver, Colorado. A senior at STEM School Highlands Ranch. A teenager with plans ahead of him, a diploma almost within reach, and a future that was supposed to begin in just a few days.
On a normal Tuesday afternoon, Kendrick sat in his British literature class, watching The Princess Bride. The room was relaxed. Familiar. Safe. No one expected history to be made in that classroom.
Then the door opened.
An 18-year-old named Devon Erickson walked in holding a gun and said, “Don’t move.”
Fear froze the room.
Kendrick was sitting close to him. Close enough to see the danger clearly. Close enough to know there was no time to wait, no time to think, no time to hope someone else would act.
And without hesitation, Kendrick stood up.
He didn’t look for cover.
He didn’t hide.
He didn’t wait to be told what to do.
He charged.
In that instant, Kendrick Castillo made a choice that would define his life forever. He rushed the shooter, trying to stop him, trying to protect the classmates he had laughed with, studied with, grown up beside.
He was shot.
Three other students followed his lead and tackled the gunman, helping bring the threat under control while the rest of the class escaped. Chaos filled the room. Shouting. Crying. Sirens closing in.
After it was over, one of the students, Brendan Bialy, went to check on Kendrick.
He wasn’t moving.
Classmates pressed on his wound. They begged him to stay. They did everything they could. But Kendrick was gone.
His father, John Castillo, later spoke words no parent should ever have to say.
“He cared so much about people that he would do something like that,” he said. “I wish he had run and hidden, but that wasn’t who he was. He always wanted to help and protect others.”
Brendan said, “Kendrick died a legend. He died a trooper. I know I’ll carry his memory for the rest of my life.”
John added, “Be selfless. That’s what my son was. It got him killed, but he saved others. I know because of what he did, others are alive. I thank God for that. I love him. He is a hero, and he always will be.”
In a moment of fear and chaos, Kendrick Castillo did not hesitate.
He stood up when it mattered most.
He acted when others needed time.
He gave his life so his classmates could have theirs.

ARKANSAS SENATOR SLAMS THE WASHINGTON POST FOR SLANDERING THE MILITARY
The media salivated over what they thought was the smoking gun that would end Donald Trump’s Presidency once and for all.
However, the Trump-hating media made a major miscalculation.
And a top Trump ally nuked the fake news media from orbit with this punishing truth.
The Washington Post kicked off a media feeding frenzy with a story about a September 2 missile strike against a drug-running boat in the Caribbean.
In the story, the Post claimed Secretary of War Pete Hegseth gave a “kill everyone” order that led to a second round of missile strikes on the vessel after the first failed to destroy the boat.
The Post claimed the second strike killed two survivors clinging to the wreckage for dear life.
Democrats and the media howled that Hegseth committed a war crime and fantasized about impeaching and imprisoning him.
But the Post’s story quickly collapsed.
Navy Admiral Frank “Mitch” Bradley briefed members of Congress that Hegseth never gave a “kill everyone” order.
Bradley told Congress that he ordered the second strike and did so after consultation with a Navy JAG officer providing legal advice.
Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton used these facts to demolish Meet the Press host Kristen Welker’s attempt to spin the Post’s false narrative into the media’s new “worse than Watergate” scandal.
“The order, like the entire operation, Kristen, is to destroy these drug boats which are running drugs into our country from foreign drug cartels and traffickers that are killing hundreds of Arkansans every year and killing hundreds of thousands of Americans,” Cotton began.
Cotton said the strikes on narco terrorist boats were conducted based on actionable intelligence and legal advice.
“Of course, before our military conducts such a strike, they have multiple sources of intelligence. They give high confidence that everyone on that boat is a foreign drug trafficker, not an innocent civilian who is being human trafficked, for instance. Secretary Hegseth and I agree they’re all valid targets,” Cotton added.
Cotton then addressed the Post’s story.
“This controversy all started with The Washington Post story nine days ago that said after the first strike, there were two survivors who were helpless, and then they were ordered to kill the helpless survivors,” Cotton stated.
Cotton slammed the Post for presenting a misleading accounting of invents and demanded that the Post apologize to Hegseth, Admiral Bradley, and the military for slandering them now that the facts were out.
“That is simply not the case. They were not floating in the ocean on a wooden plank or in life jackets; they were not on a capsized vessel. They were not incapacitated in any way. It was entirely appropriate to strike the boat again to make sure the cargo was destroyed, and it is in no way a violation of the law of war. I think The Washington Post owes Secretary Hegseth and especially Admiral Bradley an apology for that slander,” Cotton concluded.

Nineteen years old.
That was Ella Cook.
A college student with her entire future still unwritten.
A Conservative.
A Christian.
The Vice President of the Republican Club at Brown University.
She believed in ideas.
She believed in faith.
She believed she should not have to hide who she was or what she believed just to feel safe.
For that, she was hunted down and murdered in what authorities believe was a targeted political attack.
This was not random violence.
This was not meaningless chaos.
This was the logical result of a culture that has spent years teaching people that certain Americans are not just wrong, but dangerous.
That they deserve to be silenced.
That they deserve to be punished.
If you still cannot see what is happening in this country, you are choosing not to.
Because the warning signs are everywhere.
This is not a future threat.
It is already here.
Just this year alone, the country has watched as violence tied to political hatred has exploded:
• Tricia McLaughlin received explicit death threats calling for her public execution
• Two members of the National Guard were shot while serving in Washington, DC
• Six Democratic lawmakers promoted openly seditious claims urging the military to ignore lawful orders from President Trump
• Jay Jones publicly indulged violent fantasies about killing Republicans and their children and was still rewarded with electoral victory in Virginia
• President Trump survived two separate assassination attempts
• Charlie Kirk was murdered on live television and large segments of the left openly celebrated his death
• Violent assaults against ICE officers have increased by more than tenfold nationwide
• Los Angeles descended into chaos with widespread riots and coordinated terror attacks
• A left wing extremist sniper killed three people during an attack on an ICE facility in Texas
• ICE facilities in Broadview, Illinois and Portland, Oregon were overrun by large scale violent riots
• Children praying at Annunciation Catholic Church were shot by a Trump hating transgender extremist driven by left wing ideology
• Multiple ABC News affiliate stations were targeted and shot at
• Alina Habba was physically attacked
• Ed Martin was assaulted in a politically motivated attack
• Activist judges are repeatedly releasing hardened criminals back into communities, putting innocent Americans in danger
Read that list again.
This is not rhetoric.
These are bodies.
These are bullets.
These are burned streets, ambushed officers, shattered families, and innocent people caught in the crosshairs of an ideology that has lost all restraint.
For years, the left has insisted that words do not matter.
That calling people fascists, enemies, threats, or subhuman is just political speech.
But words shape behavior.
And when violence is excused, downplayed, or openly cheered as justice, it spreads.
It accelerates.
It becomes normal.
Ella Cook should still be alive.
So should every person harmed in these attacks.
If this threat is not confronted directly and forcefully, it will continue to escalate.
