Post something in your own pages if you disagree. Trump wanted to blow up LA and San Diego? No. People complaining of high gas because of the Iran War. The war kept them from getting nukes. The gas prices, which are the context, he specifically said, is a small price to pay for preventing this. He said "Let them blow up LA and San Diego" as an example of Iran with nukes...context, remember? THEN he repeated the premise, "It (the context, high gas prices" is a small price to pay. IE, to keep Iran from bombing our cities. The opposite of what his critics were saying he said. They heard one line, they have no concept of stringing sentences together to create a complex concept...they call it a word salad. Originally, a "word salad" was applied to unrelated phrases hashed together...but this was not that. We've come to the point where we think in memes, not contexts, not examination of how things fit together....and it didn't start with the internet Both sides are guilty? Yes...but for one side, the side that demands political correctness, it is their stock in trade. They did it when Trump had clearly spoken against the neo nazis and supremists in Charleston and added that most there were decent people that simply didn't want to rewrite history. That was true. Most were folks who planned a peaceful gathering before ex-Obama campaign worker Richard Spenser brought in buses of nazi freaks. They've done it countless times since. But yesterday was the worse. And for many, "You can't tell me what I heard." No, Virginia, we are simply telling you what was really said, not what you heard. But I suppose this is what comes of decades of "getting out the vote, it's your right," without "learn to understand the issues, to make informed choices at the ballot box." Because if the Leftist freak out over yesterday is any indication, we've done lost an informed voting base.
