View MoreRetired: U.S.NavyRate/Rank: E-5/HM2Retired: 31 May 1998Political affiliation: I consider myself an Independent/Libertarian.Interests: Firearms/Exotic weapons/Hand-to -hand combat/Combat Medicine/Cryptids/U.F.O.s/Foreign language studies-I currently have a basic conversational knowledge of I think 5-6 languages at this point in my life-However I can't recite the Lincolns Gettysburg Address in any of them.During my naval career I was asked (Yes asked) to volunteer to be the medical representative for a newly formed Anti-Terrorist/Hostage Rescue Team at the MCAS Cherry Point, NC. I was on the team from early 1987-Until I rotated out to my next duty station in Oct. 1988.While on the aforementioned team I was cross trained in a bunch of way cool Marine Corps stuff, needless to say I got cross trained on the various weapons that were in use in the mid to late 1980s.
