This always is a fearful and sad thing when so... View MoreI am saddened and fearful of what repercussions that will come of this. But we will get through it, we have to get united again. Maybe this will do it. This always is a fearful and sad thing when someone will take a life for whatever it is they see fit to do. Prayers for Trump, not just because he is the hope of this republic, also for his safety as a human being. Prayers for the innocent people attending the rally who were put in jeopardy for what ever reason the shooter had to drive him to take a life and have no thought of other lives he put in danger. Prayers for the family of the victims in this, the 3 people shot, the one person who lost his life, the two others wounded severely. Prayers for us, the American family. Our nation. No matter how you feel about Trump can we justify taking his life. If we do .. we lose. And there were so many involved in the fear of Trump coming back to the White house, instances of public representatives and other public figures alluding to the fact that Trump should be assassinated. People were fanning the flames of this conflagration that has led to this. I feel this will only bring more people to back Trump. It usually does when a president survives an assassination attempt. My hope is that this will bring us together as Americans. We need that really bad right now. We need a strong leadership and a change in our government from one that is overreaching in our lives to one that works for us and doesn't seek to rule over us and subjugate us. All the more reason to come together and fight the tyranny as The United States. As a Democratic Republic that honors the constitution, and we protect it, it is there for our protection, and there are those who know it and seek to strip us of our constitution that protects us. "America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." ~ Abraham Lincoln. A man's enemies will be the members of his own household. ~ Matthew 10:36. Who said we can't learn from or do without history. Well some are trying just that. Those two quotes are very prophetic, they speak to what we are seeing today. Take the hand of a hand of someone next to you. come to a united understanding, if this doesn't do it, what will. Will we brush aside this event and try to bury it. Can we agree that it is a horrendous act that we all need to know is wrong?
