From the Exodus to the Eucharist - Bishop Barron's Sunday Sermons

Friends, we’ve come to the great Solemnity of Corpus Christi—a celebration of the Body and Blood of Christ in the Eucharist. Our first reading mentions the “manna” that fed the Israelites in the desert—a mysterious bread from heaven described in the book of Exodus. This is then correlated to the Eucharist, the bread from heaven that Jesus gives us, in our Gospel from the sixth chapter of John. I want to explore four dimensions of this relationship between manna and the Eucharist.Mass Readings: Reading 1 — Deuteronomy 8:2-3, 14b-16aPsalm — Psalm 147:12-13, 14-15, 19-20Reading 2 — 1 Corinthians 10:16-17Gospel — John 6:51-58——VIDEO LINKS———The Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist: https://youtu.be/UzCPu_lEhe8The Glorious Mysteries: https://youtu.be/WoJ1hQTVdSoA Declaration of Dependence on God | Rededicate 250 Reflection: https://youtu.be/y0R3rM2j92U———WATCH———Subscribe to this Channel: https://bit.ly/31LV1snWord on Fire Institute Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@word-on-fireWord on Fire en Español Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@WOF-ES———WORD ON FIRE———Word on Fire: https://www.wordonfire.org/Word on Fire Español: https://www.wordonfire.org/es/FREE Daily Gospel Reflections (English or Español): https://dailycatholicgospel.com/———WORD ON FIRE INSTITUTE———Join Bishop Barron and over 20,000 evangelists inside the Word on Fire Institute at https://wordonfire.institute———SOCIAL MEDIA———Bishop Barron Instagram: https://bit.ly/2Sn2XgDBishop Barron Facebook: https://bit.ly/2Sltef5Bishop Barron Twitter: https://bit.ly/2Hkz6yQWord on Fire Instagram: https://bit.ly/39sGNyZWord on Fire Facebook: https://bit.ly/2HmpPpWWord on Fire Twitter: https://bit.ly/2UKO49hWord on Fire en Español Instagram: https://bit.ly/38mqofDWord on Fire en Español Facebook: https://bit.ly/2SlthaLWord on Fire en Español Twitter: https://bit.ly/38n3VPt———SUPPORT WORD ON FIRE———Help Bishop Barron continue to produce videos like this: https://bit.ly/3QSvGpoWord on Fire Store: https://bookstore.wordonfire.org/
