I was microwaving a hot dog (for my dog) a few days ago, and the thing SPARKED. What the flip is in a hot dog that would make it spark??? The spark definitely came from the hot dog & not the paper plate it was sitting on.

Do that examination with all of your food. If you did, you would probably not want to eat again. I'd be more worried about the chemicals added to food.
